GUIDELINES IN ALLOWING ACTIVE OVERSEAS REGISTERED VOTERS TO VOTE IN ANOTHER POST

The Philippine Embassy in Abuja informs overseas Filipino voters who are registered in another Embassy or Consulate that they may apply to vote at the Philippine Embassy in Abuja, provided that they follow the guidelines below:

1. Submit the duly filled out Manifestation of Intent to Vote in Another Post (MIVAP) Form by email to This email address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it., along with a clear copy of your valid Philippine passport or any Philippine-government issued ID.

2. Once received, the Embassy will forward your application to COMELEC for approval or disapproval. COMELEC approval will take approximately 48 hours.

3. If your application is approved by COMELEC, bring your original MIVAP form and submit it to the election official on duty when you vote at the following venues and schedules:

  • Philippine Embassy in Abuja, daily including weekends and holidays between 8:30 AM to 4:30 PM.
  • Philippine Consulate in Lagos on 23, 24 and 25 April 2022, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM, 2A Olori Mojisola Onikoyi Crescent, off Banana Island Road, Onikoyi Estate.

 

Note: The above procedure must be accomplished between 10 and 30 April 2022.
