Port Harcourt, 02 May 2022 - The Philippine Embassy in Abuja continued with its series of field voting activities for the 2022 National and Local Elections (NLE) by sending a team to Port Harcourt, Nigeria on 30 April and 01 May 2022. The 3-person team also provided consular services to the Filipino community.

SBEI Member Ms. Janice Villamar and SBRCG Member Mr. Abdullah Cali conducted the field voting for registered overseas voters inside the Daewoo compound (exclusively for Daewoo's Filipino employees), and at the IBCF school (for other voters in Port Harcourt), while Ms. Daisy Perez provided consular services to our kababayans at Port Harcourt.

The Embassy will conduct its third and final field voting activity for the 2022 NLE in the cities of Malabo and Bata, Equatorial Guinea on 06 and 07 May 2022. - END
