Philippine Ambassador pays courtesy call on the Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Federal Republic of Nigeria
Ambassador Mersole J. Mellejor paid his courtesy call on the Honorable Yusuf Maitama Tuggar, OON, Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Federal Republic of Nigeria on Tuesday, 16 July 2024. Foreign Minister Tuggar and the Philippine ambassador discussed the long standing relations between the Philippines and Nigeria, which started in 1962. They exchanged views on bilateral and international matters that are of mutual interest to the Philippines and Nigeria and welcomed initiatives to further strengthen ties between the two (2) countries.
