The Philippine Embassy participated in the Abuja Investment Company Roundtable 2025 at the Envoy Hotel Abuja on 27 January 2025 as part of its economic diplomacy program to help open networking opportunities between Philippine businesses and their counterparts in Nigeria.

Meeting with Top Representative of World Bank Nigeria
Philippine Ambassador to Nigeria Mersole J. Mellejor on 21 January 2025 had a good discussion with the top representative of the World Bank at the Philippine chancery in Abuja, Nigeria where they discussed potential opportunities in some areas particularly in business process outsourcing and manpower development.
Meeting with Representatives of Nigeria's Film Industry
The Philippine Ambassador to Nigeria on 17 January 2025 received representatives from the Kaduna International Film Festival, ECS Empowerment Foundation and G-Gilms Academy at the Philippine chancery in Abuja. This is part of the cultural diplomacy efforts of the Philippine Embassy in Abuja (Nigeria) to support the film industry and promote good relations between stakeholders in the Philippines and Nigeria.
